Jennifer Leibowitz is a devoted believer in Jesus and credits her faith as the inspiration behind her writing. As both an author and illustrator, she approaches her work with a deep sense of purpose, aiming to share meaningful lessons and messages of faith through her stories.
She and her husband are the proud parents of seven grown children, grandparents to fourteen, and great-grandparents to one. Through her faith-filled work, Jennifer hopes to inspire her family and readers alike with stories that encourage hope, love, and spiritual growth.

THE HORSE AND THE HIPPO
The Horse and the Hippo is about a Horse named Oscar and a Hippo named Penelope. They meet while in the water and become friends even though they look different. They meet every day and play in the water. When they go back to their herds and tell them about their new friendship, the herds tell them that they can’t be friends, because they are different.

James in the Land of the Giants
James, a football player, is tackled during a game, causing his head to bounce inside his helmet. Unable to get up, he was rushed to the hospital, where the doctor ordered an MRI. While inside the MRI machine, James feels a strange pulling sensation. Then, with a sudden, jarring thump, he finds himself on the ground in ‘The Land of the Giants.’ In this unfamiliar place, he must think quickly to overcome various barriers and challenges to find his way back home.
